  • Indonesian Aquaculture Journal

    Indonesian Aquaculture Journal (IAJ) (http://ejournal-balitbang.kkp.go.id/index.php/iaj) is published in both printed (p-ISSN 0215-0883) and electronic (e-ISSN 2502-6577) versions. Currently, IAJ is listed as Category 1 Accredited Journal under the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek), Decree No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025, dated March 21, 2025. This accreditation is valid for five years, from Volume 19 Number 2 (2024) to Volume 24 Number 1 (2029). IAJ has been accredited as Category 1 (SINTA 1) and has also been indexed in Scopus since Volume 14 Number 1 (2019).This journal is published twice a year (June and December issues) with the first IAJ edition published in 2006.

    Indonesian Aquaculture Journal is a peer-reviewed and open access journal based in Indonesia that globally/internationally accepts and publishes scientific articles in the field of aquaculture. The journal is hosted and managed by the Center for Fisheries Research, Indonesian Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and serving as a scientific platform to share research information in and contribute to the development of various disciplines of aquaculture including genetics, reproduction, nutrition and feed, fish health and diseases, engineering, and environmental assessment.
     
    Only manuscripts with research contents that are in line with the focus and scope of the Indonesian Aquaculture Journal will be selected for further reviews. All selected manuscripts are then verified by the journal’s editors for writing format based on the journal guidelines and checked for potential plagiarism using plagiarism detection software (Ithenticate and Google Scholar). To comply with the Indonesian Aquaculture Journal standard on plagiarism, the authors have to include the signed Authorship Statement when submitting the manuscript (the form can be downloaded here).
     
    Only after satisfying the writing format requirements and passing plagiarism checks, the Editor in Chief will assign a manuscript to one of the members of the Editorial Board to determine if the manuscript is accepted for publication. A regular (semester) editorial board meeting is held to formally accept or reject manuscripts. The rejected manuscripts will be returned to the authors.
     
    The accepted manuscripts will be sent to reviewers following a double-blind peer-review policy. The reviewed manuscripts are sent back to the authors for the necessary revision. The revised manuscripts from the authors will be rechecked for plagiarism to maintain high publication quality post-revision process.
     
    The journal’s editors will carry out a final proofreading in consultation with the authors to improve the readability of the revised manuscripts for final publication. All review and publication processes within the Indonesian Aquaculture Journal are through the journal online system.
     
    This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

  • Jurnal Kebijakan Perikanan Indonesia

    Jurnal Kebijakan Perikanan Indonesia have p-ISSN 1979-6366; e-ISSN 2502-6550 with Akreditasi Ditjen DIKTIRISTEK Nomor: 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025. First published in 2009 with the frequency of publication of this journal twice a year in May and November.
     
    Indonesian Fisheries Policy Journal present an analysis and synthesis of research results, information and ideas in marine and fisheries policies.
     
    Types of peer review: Double Blind Review. Author anonymity prevents any reviewer bias, for example based on an author's country of origin or previous controversial work. Articles written by prestigious or renowned authors are considered on the basis of the content of their papers, rather than their reputation. Reviewers can often identify the author through their writing style, subject matter or self-citation.

    Manuscript submitted in Indonesian Fisheries Policy Journal will be checked in term of writing guideline. When it is appropriate the manuscript will be reviewed by two Evaluators designated by the Chairman of the Editorial Board. Received manuscript will be examined for the plagiation element using Ithenticate and Google Scholar network.

  • Jurnal Riset Akuakultur

    Jurnal Riset Akuakultur is a scientific journal dedicated to studying the development and advance the knowledge of all aspects of aquaculture, including fish genetics and reproduction, aquaculture biotechnology, fish nutrition and feed, fish health and diseases, aquaculture engineering, environment interaction/impact assessment, and aquaculture socio-economics and governance. Jurnal Riset Akuakultur was first published in 2006 and has hitherto maintained a consistent quarterly publication. The journal was previously managed by the Research Center for Fisheries, Indonesian Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF). After 2022, the Marine and Fisheries Polytechnic of Jembrana has been tasked by the MMAF to manage the journal activities. 


    Jurnal Riset Akuakultur publishes rigorously peer-reviewed original research articles and reviews based on field research, theoretical advances, methodology, applications, reviews, etc. The journal maintains a high standard of review process, transparency and publication quality through a double-blind review policy. It strictly follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) concerning publication ethics.

    Jurnal Riset Akuakultur is available in print (p-ISSN: 1907-6754) and online (e-ISSN: 2502-6534)  and nationally accredited by Kendiktisaintek as SINTA 2 (Accreditation Number: 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025, 21 March 2025)

    Jurnal Riset Akuakultur only accepts submitted manuscripts fully aligned with the journal's Focus and Scope and thoroughly adheres to the author's guidelines for further consideration. Since 2023, Jurnal Riset Akuakultur has accepted manuscripts in English or Bahasa Indonesia to increase the visibility of the published articles to international readers. Submitted manuscripts will be checked for potential plagiarism primarily using Ithenticate at the initial review and copyediting stages. Only after satisfying the writing format and plagiarism check can the manuscripts be assigned to the Editorial Board member/s to determine if the manuscripts merit undergoing external peer-review review. Both editorial board and external review processes follow the Double-Blind Peer Review model. The Editor-in-Chief has the sole authority to decide the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript by considering the recommendation of the reviewers (editorial board members and external reviewers).

    Jurnal Kelautan Nasional (JKN) ISSN 1907-767X, e-ISSN 2615-4579 is a journal published by the Pusat Riset Kelautan, Research and Human Resources/Badan Riset dan Sumber Daya Manusia (BRSDM), Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries/Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP). The Center for Marine Research/Pusat Riset Kelautan (Pusriskel) is a new nomenclature, since 2017, for the Research and Development Center for Marine and Coastal Resources (P3SDLP). The National Marine Journal, before being managed by Pusriskel and P3SDLP, is managed by the Center for the Assessment and Engineering of Marine and Fisheries Technology (P3TKP). In 2016, P3TKP then merged into P3SDLP.

    Focus and Scope of Jurnal Kelautan Nasional (JKN) is a scientific publication in the field of Planning Analysis, Policy Papers, Review Papers, and Research Paper of Marine and Fisheries science and Technology. The scientific articles presented are the results of original research, conceptual ideas or current scientific reviews in marine and fisheries science and technology that have never been published.
